How to sign up for the guaranteed buyback?

Visit Gait next year when the new iPhone launches.

What is the redemption process?

Redeem your guaranteed buyback value of the purchase price (excl. VAT) anytime between September 2026 to June 2029, per the buyback schedule below.

Grade A and B

Carrier and iCloud: Works with local SIM cards. Free of all account locks (including iCloud, Find My iPhone, screen lock, passcode lock, Face ID lock).
Screen: No scratches on screen.
Body: No more than 2 minor scratches, no dents.
Camera: Working, without any discrepancies.
Battery: Battery health 90% or above.
Speakers: Fully operational.
Microphone: Fully operational.
Buttons: All buttons are responsive.
Parts: No missing parts (back cover, SIM tray, buttons).

Grade C

Carrier and iCloud: Works with local SIM cards. Free of all account locks (including iCloud, Find My iPhone, screen lock, passcode lock, Face ID lock).
Screen: Screen having scratches, open or swapped.
Body: Major scratches on back and housing.
Camera: Working, without any discrepancies.
Battery: Battery health 80% or above.
Speakers: Fully operational.
Microphone: Fully operational.
Buttons: All buttons are responsive.
Parts: No missing parts (back cover, SIM tray, buttons).

Grade D

Carrier and iCloud: Device lock, Google lock, Apple lock, or network lock.
Screen: Broken screen, LCD dots, lines, discoloration.
Body: Faulty device, dead unit (no power).
Camera: Cracked or broken camera, back cover and housing.
Trackpad: Faulty.
Webcam: Faulty.
Parts: Any missing parts (back cover, keys, battery).

Any device returned in Grade D / condition 3 is accepted only through the regular Trade-In programme, at the value offered at the time, and not through the guaranteed buyback programme.

Additional Terms & Conditions

Device condition

The device must be in the condition specified in the grade definitions above. Any damage beyond the stated limits may affect the residual value.

Redemption process

Redemption is subject to a thorough inspection of the device to verify its condition.

IMEI verification

The iPhone 18 Pro IMEI on the device must match the one on the invoice.

Transferability

The guaranteed buyback programme is non-transferable.

Data

Before handing the device over to Gait, delete all your data and de-activate your iCloud account. Contact the Gait call centre or visit any of our showrooms for support and assistance.

Proof of purchase

You will need to provide the original purchase invoice at the time of redemption.

Refund

You will receive the value as a credit voucher. Cash refunds are not available.

Replaced device

You must provide proof of replacement if the device was replaced under warranty by Apple. The proof must clearly state the old and new device IMEI.
