What are the requirements to use PayLater?

PayLater is available to all citizens and residents in Qatar. We only need your mobile number, valid ID, and valid payment method.

How are PayLater’s credit limits decided?

Shoppers’ credit limit is decided based on several factors such as employment status, salary, length of service, credit history, etc.

The maximum credit limit is QAR 25,000.

The credit limit is approved by PayLater based on several factors on your profile. (Terms and conditions applied).

Please note, PayLater’s Customer Support team cannot override the automated approval decision.

How can I increase my credit limit?

A good payment history with PayLater can improve your chances of being approved for more purchases as well as how long you've been using PayLater to shop.

If you have negative balances on unpaid purchases, it might help to pay them off to possibly increase your chances of approval.

Why is my order being declined but I have a limit available?

The total amount in the shopping cart may be too high, so try to remove an item(s) and try again.

You can find your approved credit limit/available limit on the home screen by logging into the PayLater app.

Is there a limit to how much I can spend with PayLater?

The minimum order value must be QAR 300, and the maximum that you can utilize is the credit limit approved.

How do I make a payment for the order?

Online: On checkout, select PayLater as the mode of payment; the website will prompt you to log in to your PayLater account, review the payment schedule, and pay.

What are the payment methods in PayLater?

PayLater accepts all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa).

How does PayLater work?

  • Choose PayLater at checkout.
  • Link any credit card and get an instant approval.
  • Pay only the 1st payment of the purchase upfront, and PayLater will remind you about the rest on due dates.

Can I pay before the due date?

Yes, you can also view your statement, make payments, and manage your account by logging in the PayLater app.

Can I change the card used to make payment?

  • Log in to the PayLater app.
  • You can add the new card from the Home Screen or under Account Profile by Selecting Payment Details.
  • Click “Add new Credit Card” and follow the steps by providing card details.
  • You will receive a notification when the card details are captured successfully.

How will I know when I need to pay?

After receiving your order, PayLater will let you know by email and SMS when your payment is due. You can also see all your upcoming due payments in your PayLater app.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Past due payments will affect your credit history. You might be charged a late payment fee of QAR 50, which is donated by PayLater to charity. Missing payments might also lead to legal action being taken against the customer.

The payment is due, but I haven't received my order.

If you haven’t received your order, kindly reach out to the Merchant Support Team, and they will support your query. In case of a refund, this must be issued through Merchant to PayLater to proceed further.

How can I get a refund?

All refunds will be issued according to the merchant’s policy for returns and cancellations. Once Merchant has registered your return or cancellation with PayLater, your refund will be processed:

  • If the refunded amount is less than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be adjusted accordingly.
  • If the refunded amount is more than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be canceled, and the balance will be refunded to your credit card used for payment.

How long does a refund take?

The amount is credited back to the card used for the payment process. This will show up on your balance within 10–15 days but could take longer depending on your bank. You will receive a confirmation email about the refund in your registered email and on your account in the PayLater app.
